A-T | If the Stars Align
Pain. There was so much pain. The sound of barking filled his ears. Snarling, growling. Yowling of cats and cries of kits. Sounds and feelings that should never fill a camp. The bodies of the ShadowClan warriors surrounded him, and next to him those of two of his remaining clanmates, all sleeping soundly. With a silent sigh, the RiverClan survivor got to his paws and padded from the den and into the pale moonlight that filtered through the pines surrounding the camp. My Savoir.
A gift from the Tidespirits.
A ray of sunshine in my otherwise dim life.
A silver cloud bringing the much needed rain;
giving life to a wilting flower.
Gentle paws planting a new seed;
nourishing new life and new spirit.
Golden eyes sparkle like jewels.
Heart made of the purest gold.
A smile as radiant as the sun.
Not making new life.
No, saving what was dying.
Giving it a new start;
a new view of what there is,
a new view of the world.
But, must importantly,
a new view of life.
Providing new excitement;
new happiness and joy.
"Warriors of BasaltClan, gather! We are no longer save here. We will abandon the camp. We shall head to the Red Glow Cracks. The warmth there should serve us well, and we can shelter in the caves. Each she-cat will be accompanied by at least one warrior. Carry the kits. Apprentices, stay with your mentors. I want no stupid heroics. Whoever stays behind gets left behind."
