Pain. There was so much pain. The sound of barking filled his ears. Snarling, growling. Yowling of cats and cries of kits. Sounds and feelings that should never fill a camp. Panic filled his body, his limbs felt heavy from terror. Blood rushed in his ears, drowning out the horrific sounds around him.
